Speclub M101
Polyphenylene ether grease
Description:
It is a new type of lubricating material with excellent comprehensive performance. It has good high-temperature properties of aromatic hydrocarbon compounds. Its oxidation stability, lubricity and viscosity index are comparable to those of the best-performing synthetic lubricants, and its thermal stability is very good.
Benefits:
- Polyphenylene ether grease can be maintained permanently under radiation conditions below 1011ergs/g (radiation unit). Provides lubrication solutions for its radiation exposure applications. All organic matter is subject to radiolysis (molecular fragmentation induced by ionizing radiation). However, lubricants made from molecules containing aromatic ring structures exhibit higher resistance to radiation-induced decomposition than lubricants based on linear hydrocarbons.

Applications:
It is also widely used in nuclear power plants, space satellites, nuclear submarines, food sterilization equipment, radiochemistry laboratories and medical imaging systems. The selection of greases for use in high-intensity radiation environments becomes very important, especially in radiation environments that include nuclear radiation, shortwave, high-energy ionizing radiation such as gamma rays, X-rays and subatomic charged particles. Medical and food sterilization processes, X-ray imaging, nuclear power generation equipment, and high-altitude aircraft and satellites found in the aerospace industry.
