Swilub F738
High-Current Switch Grease
Description:
SEIVIO Swilub F738 High-Current Switch Grease is based on fully fluorinated base oil and a PTFE thickener. It is developed to protect electrical switch contacts, circuit breakers, sliding contacts and silver, silver-plated or gold-plated contacts exposed to arcing, high currents and high temperatures.
Benefits:
- Resists high-temperature arc degradation without leaving carbon residues that increase contact resistance.
- The uniform bond-energy distribution of the PFPE backbone provides resistance to high-energy arc-particle bombardment.
- Stabilizes contact resistance and prevents surface oxide formation and excessive heating.
- Helps shield copper and silver-plated contacts from SF6 decomposition products such as HF and SOF2, moisture and salt spray.
- Combines high dielectric strength against insulation breakdown with an ultrathin conductive film when contacts close, supporting stable long-term contact resistance.
