Instrument Transformer Grease

SEIVIO Swilub G129 special grease for transformers is made of synthetic base oil PFPE, combined with PTFE and other lubricating ingredients and functional additives. It is a special electrical insulation grease customized for core equipment such as voltage/current transformers for power measurement and protection. The core is designed around high insulation and high voltage resistance to ensure the safety of transformer insulation and long-term stable operation.

• High insulation, high voltage resistance, low dielectric loss: non-conductive, preventing creepage, corona and flashover, ensuring the insulation safety and measurement accuracy of the transformer;
• Filling the gaps between O-rings, flanges and porcelain seats to block water vapor, the SF₆ transformer can also assist in preventing gas leakage;
• Isolate air moisture, prevent metal threads and contact surfaces from oxidation and corrosion, and prevent bolts from becoming stuck and unable to be disassembled after many years;
• Good material compatibility: will not swell or corrode silicone rubber seals, epoxy resin, and porcelain parts;
• Wide-temperature stability: not easy to drip oil or harden under high and low temperatures, and long-term maintenance-free outdoor substations.

It is widely used for assembly lubrication of instrument transformer flange sealing surfaces, O-ring seals, porcelain bottle/casing bases, metal fastener threads, partial rotation and sliding operating mechanisms, and insulation support interfaces. The material (transformer) is PPO. Apply grease to the iron core and conduct high and low temperature tests (-40°C-70°C).
